With the rise in Korean pop-culture within the states. I have had some concerns with the overwhelming capitalism of the culture. In the states fans only see the glitz and glamour of the culture. Unaware of the many issues the country faces. The piece I created is satiric in the way where it parallels the same phenomenon of 'this is cute!' but unaware of it's implications.
